Steve Calk

Steve is an accomplished entrepreneur, banking executive, military veteran, and nationally recognized expert in finance, economics, national security, and military affairs. He is the founder and former Chairman and CEO of National Bancorp Holdings, The Federal Savings Bank, and Chicago Bancorp.
A former Army Aviation Officer and helicopter pilot, Steve served nearly 16 years in active and reserve military service. He is a graduate of the United States Army Aviation School and holds a B.A. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and a PPL from Harvard Business School.
Throughout his career, Steve has advised senior government and business leaders and served on the boards and advisory boards of numerous financial institutions and corporations, including Chase Manhattan Mortgage Company, Bank of America Mortgage, CitiMortgage, and General Electric Mortgage Insurance Company.
His leadership and expertise have earned national recognition, including being named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist. He remains committed to supporting veterans and mentoring military leaders as they transition into positions of greater responsibility and civilian careers.

Meghan is a High Honors and James Scholar graduate of the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she earned degrees in Finance and Strategy, Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
With a strong foundation in financial analysis, strategic planning, and entrepreneurial development, Meghan brings a data-driven and growth-oriented approach to building and scaling organizations. Her academic experience has focused on corporate finance, investment analysis, business strategy, and developing innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
Through her background in finance and entrepreneurship, Meghan applies analytical thinking, strategic execution, and operational discipline to support the growth and success of Veterans Services & Logistics. She is passionate about creating meaningful business solutions while leveraging strong partnerships and a commitment to excellence.
Stephen Calk Jr.

Stephen brings a strong background in military leadership, logistics, and operations. He began his military career by enlisting in the Illinois Army National Guard as an Infantryman before attending the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Law and Legal Studies with an engineering track in Nuclear Engineering.
Following graduation, Stephen served as an active-duty Armor Officer, developing expertise in logistics, team management, leadership, and operational execution. His military experience and commitment to service provide a strong foundation for the Veterans Services and Logistics mission and day-to-day operations.

Hunter is the four-legged heart of Veterans Services and Logistics. As our official Patriotic Pup, he proudly boosts morale and reminds us that loyalty, dedication, and teamwork are at the core of everything we do.
Whether he's keeping the office energized, accompanying the team through long workdays, or greeting clients with a wagging tail, Hunter embodies the unwavering spirit of service that defines our company. His presence brings a sense of camaraderie and positivity to every mission, proving that even the smallest team member can make the biggest impact.
When he's off duty, Hunter enjoys playing ball, swimming in the pool, going for walks, and spending time with his family. He takes his role very seriously and never misses an opportunity to brighten someone's day.
